Michael Higgins

Michael Higgins
Non-Executive Chairman

Michael is currently a Non-Executive Director Progility Limited. He is an alternate member of the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers on behalf of the Quoted Companies Alliance. He is a past Chairman of the QCA and of Ebiquity plc and was until recently a non-executive director of Plant Health Care plc and Premier Technical Services Group plc . He was previously a Partner and Senior Adviser at KPMG and a Director of Charterhouse Bank. Michael qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse.

Alan Ramsay

Alan Ramsay

Alan has extensive experience in regulation, compliance and risk management in banking and capital markets. He was previously a Senior Advisor to PwC and latterly Global Head of Compliance for HSBC Bank Plc, having occupied a similar role earlier in his career at Bankers Trust International. He was formerly Executive Director of Surveillance at the Securities and Futures Authority. A Chartered Accountant by training, Alan is Deputy Chairman of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment of which he is also an Honorary Fellow and is Visiting Professor in the Practice of Financial Regulation and Compliance at the BPP Law School.

Imogen Joss

Imogen Joss
Non-Executive Director

Imogen has a background in fintech and the energy commodities markets. She was formerly President of two companies within the S&P Global Group and Executive Director at the London Stock Exchange Group. She now holds a portfolio of Non Executive positions within listed data and software businesses as well as holding seats on the boards of two professional services firms. Imogen chairs the Remuneration Committee within all her positions, including IPSX UK Ltd.

Malcolm Fallen

Malcolm has extensive Board experience in quoted and private equity backed companies and currently serves as Chairman on the Board of Kent plc. Malcolm also brings significant experience of business transformation, restructuring, capital raising, IPO and M&A transactions gained over many years in a variety of sectors.

Roger Clarke

Roger Clarke
Chief Executive Officer

Roger Clarke has spent 30 years working in European capital markets including investment banking roles at NM Rothschild, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, JP Morgan Cazenove and Stifel Nicolaus, as well as undertaking a secondment to the UK Takeover Panel. He has also been Head of UK Capital Markets for ING Real Estate, and more recently he was Head of Corporate Finance at M7 Real Estate where he set up and ran the alternative lending platform, Tunstall Real Estate. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen.

Mike Coker

Mike is a board director of IPSX UK and is responsible for overseeing the financial performance and governance of the IPSX Group. CIMA qualified accompanied by an MBA with Distinction, Mike has over 20 years of financial and commercial management experience encompassing M&A activities, debt and equity fund raising and investor relations across predominantly FCA regulated businesses in private equity, financial services and real estate. Mike has held a number of roles including with Octopus Group, where he spent over 11 years, Baring Asset Management and UBS Investment Bank. Since leaving Octopus in September 2018, Mike provided interim CFO and Finance Director consultancy services to a range of start-ups and SMEs, before subsequently joining IPSX.

Dan Phillips

Dan Phillips
Head of Market Regulation

Dan has over 20 years of financial sector experience, focused on regulation and compliance within capital markets. He previously worked as Compliance Manager at Chi-X Europe, the first pan-European equities MTF, and has held similar positions within Bloomberg’s data reporting businesses and London Derivatives Exchange. His broader financial services experience includes roles at Markit, Deutsche Bank and HSBC.

Alison Scott-Bishop

Alison Scott-Bishop is a seasoned compliance professional with over 30 years’ experience. She has held senior compliance positions in a number of organisations, including the Securities & Investments Board, HSBC Bank plc and, most recently, London Stock Exchange where she was Head of Rules and Compliance for six years prior to joining IPSX in July 2018.

David Beevers

David Beevers
Head of Operations

David Beevers is a BCS qualified Programme / Portfolio Manager with extensive experience of market infrastructure and investment banking.  He has held senior operational/program management roles for two leading global exchanges (the London Stock exchange and NYSE Euronext) and previously also worked at HSBC and Barclays Capital.

Richard Latter

Richard Latter
Head of Distribution

Richard Latter is responsible for new and existing relationships with distribution partners in the Financial Services sector with a particular focus on the retail platform space. Other duties include supporting issuers, ensuring the supply of IPSX market data and familiarising the wider investment community about IPSX. Richard joined from Interactive Investor, where he oversaw their Pension Trading Account offering, retail eligible IPOs and the Personal Account Dealing service. Prior to that, he was Head of Relationship Management at Equiniti Financial Services Limited and has worked in the execution only platform market for over 20 years.

Richard Lester

Richard Lester
Senior Advisor

Richard has over 30 years of investment banking experience, including several senior managerial roles in equity trading at Merrill Lynch and Barclays Capital and as Head of Pan-European Equity Trading at Citigroup and Nomura. Most recently, as Head of Execution Services at Panmure Gordon, he was responsible for overseeing daily trading activities and managed numerous projects designed to enhance the firm’s trading architecture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational efficiencies. Having also managed platform and execution technology development for a CFD provider and a cross-asset hedge fund, he brings extensive experience in portfolio management, risk, and strategy, as well as a detailed knowledge of execution services and infrastructure across multiple business lines.

Joy Abiola

Joy has 12 years of financial services experience and an impressive career path in the world of Private Equity. She joins IPSX from GP Bullhound Investment Management where her role encompassed Fundraising and Investor Relations. Prior to GP Bullhound, Ms Abiola had a successful career at Cebile Capital as a Secondary Advisory and Fundraising Vice President having joined from Citi Bank in 2015 where she was Product Manager in the Private Equity & Real Estate Division. Prior to that she also held positions at Pantheon and Insight Investments. She holds a BSc in History, Philosophy & Science from University College London.

Daniel Atkinson-Hope

Daniel Atkinson-Hope
Director, Capital Markets

Daniel Atkinson-Hope is Director of the Capital Markets Group, responsible for new and existing relationships with distribution partners in the Financial Services sector. Other duties include advising issuers with capital markets questions and broadening the knowledge of IPSX in the investment community. Daniel joined from Shore Capital Markets, where he oversaw Private Wealth Sales and Corporate Access as a member of the Equity Sales Team. Prior to that he was Head of Corporate Access at Capital Access Group. Daniel has a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Cape Town and has lived in London for 9 years. He is a keen cyclist and wants to start an IPSX peloton.

Rebecca Mullins

Risk Officer

Rebecca Mullins joined IPSX in July 2019 from Travelex, where she was the Head of Operational Risk. She has also held risk management roles within the financial services industry, notably within insurance and financial advice firms. Rebecca has also obtained the Certificate in Risk Management with the IRM.

Bernhard Michna

IT and Operations Manager

Bernhard has worked in the city for Thomson Reuters on market data systems for over 27 years. He later went on to work for Fidelity International on a number of projects and then finally joined IPSX at the beginning of 2017.

Alfie joined IPSX after graduating from the London School of Economics. Having initially joined as an intern, Alfie has been working in Market Regulation since early 2017.

Saif Monajed

Capital Markets Analyst

Saif Monajed is an Analyst working in the CMG Team at IPSX. Prior to joining IPSX, Saif worked in Capital Markets Consulting at First Derivative where he liaised with global investment banks in regards to their market strategies and research. Saif is currently pursuing his CFA charter and holds a BSc Hons. in Economics from University College London.

Emma Taylor

Emma Taylor is a Marketing Executive at IPSX with over five years experience in financial services. Emma’s experience ranges from Financial Control and Compliance, Financial Process Optimization and Management Consultancy. Emma has a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of St Andrews.

Alison Carroll

Alison is the Executive Assistant reporting to the Chief Executive and providing general support to the wider IPSX team. She has extensive experience with a background in investment banking and finance including Trade Support , Middle Office, and Operations at CSFB, and more recently as Executive Assistant at Q-Advisers Gmbh an Austrian based investment company.

Sir Brian Ivory

Sir Brian Ivory CVO CBE is the former Group CEO and subsequently Chairman of Highland Distillers PLC and currently Chairman of Marathon Asset Management and Arcus European Infrastructure Fund. He has held multiple public and private sector non-executive roles with major UK and Continental European financial services groups and consumer products groups.

Anthony Gahan

Anthony Gahan has over 30 years of investment banking experience including as a director of Robert Fleming & Co. Ltd, as a senior banker at Lehman Brothers and a founding partner of Wyvern, the London investment banking firm. He is currently a non-executive director of Maru Group, a technology enabled international insight services group and an Executive Fellow of King's Business School (King's College London).

Sly Bailey

Sly Bailey is the former CEO of Trinity Mirror PLC one of the largest media companies in the U.K. Previously she was CEO of IPC media where she led the £1.2 billion sale of the business to AOL TimeWarner. She has held a wide variety of public and private non executive roles including EMI plc, Ladbrokes plc, Littlewoods plc and the Press Association. She is currently the Senior Independent Director at Greencore plc.

Rob Bould

Rob Bould is a former CEO of GVA Bilfinger, one of the leading international property agents and advisory firms, and Executive Vice President of Bilfinger Real Estate gmbh. Rob spent his entire career at GVA and was appointed CEO when under private equity ownership by Lloyds Development Capital. Rob was Head of Investment and Chairman of GVA’s Capital Markets Group.

Roland Bellegarde

Roland Bellegarde is a stock exchange expert most recently Group Executive Vice President of NYSE Euronext and a member of its management committee and holding board roles at LIFFE, Euronext, Interbolsa, LCH Clearnet and the Qatar Exchange inter alia. He is currently an adviser to Tadawul, the Saudi Stock Exchange.

Richard Croft

Richard Croft is Executive Chairman of M7 Real Estate, a leading specialist in the pan-European, regional, multi-let real estate market. Wholly owned by its senior managers, M7 has over 200 employees in 13 countries across Europe. The team manages over 1,200 retail, office and industrial properties with a value of circa €7.4 billion. Richard has been involved in over €8 billion of transactions across the UK and Europe during his 26 years of real estate experience.
